Here’s something I received from LinkedIn today – “You have one of the top 1% most viewed LinkedIn profiles for 2012. LinkedIn now has 200 million members. Thanks for playing a unique part in our community!”
I have been a heavy LinkedIn user, using it for many reasons right from generating business contacts to connecting with colleagues to getting answers from experts with nearly 2000 contacts. It was good to see this message from them as a gesture. LinkedIn definitely knows how to make users feel special and in the process they are making us blog about it and tweet about it, which works as a great marketing strategy for them! 🙂 This is a good example of making your customers your brand ambassadors!
